Henri Levi,Director of World ORT’s International Cooperation Office in Geneva is responsible for providing non-sectarian training and technical assistance in the developing world and countries emerging from major crises.

An ORT graduate with a degree in electricity, he worked for several months in private industry before returning to ORT as a staff member in 1964.

If he is not behind his desk you are just as likely to find him organizing a forestry training project in Guinea or vocational training for orphans in Namibia.

As he says, “I am not religious but in my heart I’m a good Jew and I want to do my best for people. And by helping non-Jews, including Muslims, we are fighting anti-Semitism in our own way, a positive way.”
